Alabama Broadband

Living in Alabama has its advantages, including using the Alabama broadband Internet, television and phone services. Offering digital cable and voice, broadband Internet and bundles of two or more services, Alabama Broadband has a package for everyone.

Television Services

The premium digital cable television services offer over 200 channels including some of the most popular networks, some of them in High definition and over 30 digital music channels. Or those customers who do not want the entire digital television package, Alabama Broadband also offers Broadcast basic that includes many of the network channels and basic digital cable channels including ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC among others. Another popular package includes the Expanded Basic Cable package. This package offers the Broadcast Basic channels plus 65 analog cable channels (non-premium). Customers can order this service alone, or they can bundle it with one or more services as well.

Digital Telephone (Voice)

Alabama Broadband offers digital telephone service as well. Their various packages include such services as free local and long distance calling, number portability services, all Emergency Services offered by 911 and other calling features. Some of these other features include call waiting, call return, call forwarding three-way calling and caller ID, and others for twelve calling features. Customers can buy this service separately or bundle it with any of the other services available.

High Speed Internet

The Alabama Broadband Internet services come in four packages based on Internet speed, of which a package is available for each customer’s needs. The high-speed broadband Internet offered by Alabama Broadband includes their 1MB/s download speed and 384 KB/s upload speed package which comes with five email addresses in addition to 10MB of online storage. The next package includes up to 3 MB/s download speed and up to 768 KB/s upload speed of which includes five email addresses and 10 MB of online storage.

The next and most popular package includes up to 6MB/s download speed and up to 1MB/s upload speed in addition to 10 email addresses and 20 MB of online storage space. Their fastest Internet package offers up to 12 Mbit/s of download speed and up to 1MB/s upload speed in addition to 10 email addresses and up to 20 MB of online storage. Additionally, customers who have other requirements can build their own packages and speeds as well.

Customers can buy these packages separately or as a bundle. Bundle packages typically represent a savings over separate additions and the customer can see the savings reflected on their bill for up to two years in some cases.
