It’s nothing new if I am going to say that viruses, malwares, and trojans are just three of the things that your PC can get while surfing the Internet. And once you have at least one of these bugs, it spells trouble for your PC and also for you. Luckily, there are a lot of endpoint security solutions on the market that deals on scanning and deleting, and cleaning up of these types of security threats.
However, Dell is looking at a different approach to security by looking to aggressively trap and imprison these types of bugs before they can even become a headache and before you can even say “there’s a bug in my computer!”
Dell, with the help of Kace, a systems management appliance company that brings solutions for maximum security, has installed that application virtualization technology to Internet browser giant Mozilla Firefox and is offering corporation what they truly believe in as more secure form of browsing the Internet.
Introducing the new Dell Kace Secure Browser. What this newly updated technology brings is a virtual instance of an Internet browser application. The application, once run the browser is run by a virtual instance, or say a sandbox environment, the application, virtualization, and/or any activity resulting from its use are isolated from the endpoint, keeping the computer and its respective operating system free from any unknown changes it may occur.
For as long as the application virtualization is around, still the security through isolation still remains one the best use cases. And with that, you can surf all you want without feeling worried.
