When you hear the term wool added to something else like ‘jacket’ or ’skirt’, if you’re like me, your first thought is of something very similar to what your Nan knitted you for Christmas last year. Nice enough in itself but not what you expect to see in outerwear at all.

However, Woolly garments have come a long way since then and they’re not hand-knitted any more so they tend to have a finer look and finish at the end of production. But, that doesn’t mean that the structure of the wool is destroyed. Men’s wool jackets are warm, soft to the touch, durable (long-lasting), good quality and possess a slight ‘give’ so they fit better.

Wool jackets can be 100% pure wool or they can be a lower percentage of wool mixed in with another material like polyester to make the jacket easier to maintain and clean. Either way, you are guaranteed am exceptional garment whatever you decide to buy.

As you’d expect, though, it is not to wash your wool jacket in your machine at home. Specialist dry cleaning is required to keep your jacket in tip-top condition.
