Ever since I have had children my eating priorites have completely changed and I make sure I eat better for them. It has been a huge struggle in our house getting our kids to eat the foods they need to eat on a daily basis. I have become very creative and I’m sure one day my kids will hate me for it! They love chocolate milk so I decided to disguise spinach in it. It was successful! Now I make sure I hide vegetables in every meal we eat! Spinach is one of the easiest veggies to hide. It blends into everything and does not hasve a strong taste. I can even disguise it from my picky husband! Meatloaf is the best vegetable hider I have found. Thank goodness they love meatloaf! My kids now ASK me for green eggs. It is their favorite and the only way they will eat eggs now. I blend the eggs with a handful of spinach in the blender and add salt, pepper and cheese. Then I cook them and they eat them all! Funny how becoming a mom changes the way you do everything, even eating and preparing food! If you have picky eaters it may be time to try a few of my hints.
