Ten pin bowling is the type of bowling that most people know. In ten pin bowling every game is divided into ten frames. In a frame a bowler gets two attempts to hit all ten pins. When you are lucky and knock down all ten pins in the first roll, you will get a “strike”. A “strikes” is scored as ten plus the total of the next two rolls in the next frame(s), thus a strike gives good points. Knocking down all 10 pins using the two rolls you have in a frame it is called a “spare”. The player’s gain for that frame will be 10 plus the total of the following roll in the next frame. Three following strikes are named a “turkey.” Should you be lucky to get 4 strikes in a row, it’s labeled a “hambone.” If a strike is rolled in every frame of the game, the player’s score is three hundred and the player has accomplished a “perfect game”
